In India many handicapped people are suffering a lot and they are unable to do any work or raise money, and also they can’t move from one place to the other. Some are unable to even go outside to the toilet, and so they are having untold sufferings. No one will care for them or support them. These handicapped people feel that, to be born handicapped is the cursing of God.

If handicapped people complete their school studies, the government will provide them with good jobs, but handicapped students are often unable to go to school because they are unable to buy a try rickshaw to travel there.

If we provide ‘Try Rickshaws’ to handicapped people, then they can go from one place to another place and they can do some easy work to get self support and somehow they will survive and will receive the hope of Christ in their lives. Each new Try Rickshaw is worth $ 170 dollars.

The picture is of an old Try Rickshaw, as at this stage we have not purchased any for those in need. The picture is included to show what they look like.

The petty vendor in the above picture was facing many difficulties while trying to earn a living. When SCM helped him with some money to purchase petty items like tamarind fruit, he was able to support his family.

This petty vendor, a non-Christian now praises and thanks our Almighty Lord Jesus Christ.

Tamarind vendor Mr. K. Suribabu is
supported by SCM with a push bike.
